Hot Ham Dip

Hot Ham Dip is a staple for holidays in my family.  It is one of those dips that make you want “just one more bite.”

Hot Ham Dip

1 lb. chopped ham

8 oz. shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

8 oz. cream cheese, softened

8 oz. sour cream

1/2 jar chopped jalapeno peppers (this amount makes the dip pretty hot so adjust to your taste and heat tolerance!)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Dash of garlic powder (I always put a couple of dashes)

Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl.  Spoon the mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until hot and bubbly.  Serve warm with assorted crackers and/or tortilla chips.

Note: You can also bake this in a bread bowl.  To do so, cut off the top of a round bread loaf and scoop out the inside.  Place the dip mixture in the bread bowl and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
