Spiced Tea Mix
I’m not sure what is better about a cup of hot Spiced Tea – the taste or the smell! The amazing aroma of hot Spiced Tea just screams “Fall is here!” I love it! There are many different Spiced Tea mixes but this is one of my favorites. It makes a lot of dry mix so be sure you have a sealable, airtight container big enough to store it in or you can cut the recipe in half to make less.
Spiced Tea Mix
1 cup Lipton Instant Tea powder mix (unsweetened)
2 cups Tang (Orange breakfast drink) powder mix
1 cup white sugar
1 large (or 2 small) envelopes of Wyler’s or Kool-Aid lemonade mix (unsweetened)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
Mix all of the ingredients together until well blended. (I put everything in a large mixing bowl and stir it with a spoon until completely mixed, then pour it into my storage container using a kitchen funnel).
Use 2 teaspoons to 2 tablespoons of dry mix per cup of Spiced Tea (depending on the size of your cup and also your taste, as a little more mix will make it sweeter and give it a stronger spice taste). Put the mix in the cup, fill with hot water and stir. Now, find a fireplace and a big comfy chair to curl up in and you’re all set!
Made this recipe last weekend for a party…..YUM! Now I’m gonna try your hot ham dip…thanks for these recipes!
So glad you enjoyed the spiced tea. Hope you like the hot ham dip too!! Let me know what you think!
